Steve Jobs and Rupert Murdoch (head of News Corporation) are starting an Ipad only newspaper called The Daily. The Daily will cost 99 cents a week and "tabloid sensibility with a broadsheet intelligence." The Daily has been hidden from the public eye until now, the official release date has not been released yet but since it has been in production for some time now you can expect it to be released before next spring, hopefully this winter. There will be a dedicated team of 100-150 journalists that will work solely to produce daily content for the newspaper. More information about The Daily will be released before the end of December and in the future could expand to other tablets.

This is really cool, but will it actually take off? I know that a lot of people all over the world own an Ipad (one is my dad) and they use it regularly, but my dad says he doesnt like reading on it because he likes reading hard covers and actual newspapers like the evening Standard. But thats just my dad, you never know.
